Arnulfo “Rene” Moreno

Originally from Coatzingo, Puebla, Mexico, Mr. Moreno migrated to the United States in 1982. Growing up in East Los Angeles, California he dreamed of owning a business and making a difference in the community. He opened his first business in 1996 and became an advocate for local youth groups. As a motivational speaker for middle and high school students he saw the need for safe and structured after school programs. Partnering with local agencies he was instrumental in the building and preservation of local recreational parks combining their use with school programs. Since 2013 Mr. Moreno has been a community leader dedicated to providing tools for migrants to reach the American Dream. Currently Mr. Moreno works with local and Mexican government to promote awareness of opportunity based programs promoted through culture in the areas of education, health , economic prosperity and civic participation. Mr. Moreno is a co- founder of Fundacion Puebla USA.
